Thoughts
 Umm...What?

The Che Guevara reference in the coverstory was simply awkward in many ways. It not the fact that Che was being mention but the fact that we are comparing a character like Caribou to the man who is consider a genius of sorts and icon. It is baffling.

And I guess that is where the humor can be found. The resemblance between Caribou and Gaburu are so close. Then you compare Gaburu's image on the flag to the actual Che image and you have something that is boggling.

It is times like this where I wonder if anybody in Japan get this reference. One Piece is a manga for boys. How many of those boys go around looking up Cuban Revolutionary Leaders in their spare time? It is like expecting an eleven year old to know the Cheers theme song.

What is there to say about this short chapter? It was simply sixteen pages. Oda's cold must have cut this chapter short. It ended on the typical cliffhanger and helped moved things like usual. It just that we could have used a few more pages. Maybe two more page would have made the transition from Luffy and Franky going from the bar to the scene with the Doflamingo thug scene a bit smoother.

Personally I got a little lost as we saw Franky and Luffy questioning the thug out of nowhere. I thought for a moment that the henchman they had cornered was the person who stole Zoro's swords. Explaining how they got to the henchman would have strengthen Franky's statement a bit better then leaving it sounding out of place and confusing.

Our mysterious swordsman is quite the powerful man. Not only does he has the skill but he can pay the bills for the damages he created. We do not have a confirmation but he is looking like to be Admiral Fujitora. His name matches up and the bartender was surprise that a blind swordsman was able to pay for the damages.

The curious thing is that Fujitora simply allow Luffy to run off. I wonder what kind of Justice he follows. Is it a "Wait and See" type Justice? Maybe he didn't even reveal himself because he was undercover. This must be an influence from the Japanese actor that Fujitora is based on.

We got some set up as now our Factory Searching and Rescuing Team has been split up. One is solving the mystery of the fairies and the other about to take part in a tournament. I hope this tournament thing doesn't last too long because Shonen Fight manga and tournaments don't have a good reputation. I should trust Oda that he would do tournament in a fun and entertaining way but I am worry. Especially if Oda will have no problem jumping between one thing and another thus dragging out the fight between three chapters because he wants to show what Nami is doing.

Who would be correct in Luffy's response to the Flame Flame Fruit? Would he care? Would he not? Simply wait until next week!

Until next time true believers!
